UCSB's Graduate Division has the opportunity to nominate two students for the 2022-23 Distinguished Master's Thesis Award, presented by the Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) and PROQUEST. If selected by WAGS, the recipient will receive an award consisting of a certificate, $1,000, and travel expenses to the annual WAGS meeting in Portland, OR.

Of the two campus nominees, one must be in the area of Biological Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering and the other in the area of Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, and Business. Graduate Division will administer the review of campus nominations in order to select the two campus finalists. Departments may submit multiple students for consideration.

All nomination materials must be submitted electronically to graddeans@draddiv.ucsb.edu by Friday, September 16, 2022 at 4 p.m.
