Join the Center for Innovative Teaching, Research, and Learning (CITRAL) for Coffee with a Prof! Graduate students will have the opportunity to meet visiting teaching and learning scholars, learn more about their research interests, and talk to them about their career paths.
The winter visiting scholar is Dr. Jeffrey Bernstein, Professor of Political Science from Eastern Michigan University and Director of the Bruce K. Nelson Faculty Development Center. His research focuses on the scholarship of teaching and learning, particularly on how to foster students' effective civic engagement. He also studies collaborative teaching and how to enhance the role of teaching in the academy.
Enjoy a coffee with Dr. Bernstein on Tuesday, Feb 28 from 10-11am in CITRAL (Library 1576)! Prior registration is recommended.
