Next Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20, the Bren Environmental Justice Club will be hosting its 4th Annual Environmental Justice Symposium. This hybrid event will explore topics ranging from the roots of environmental harm to advice for environmental justice careers. This event brings together interdisciplinary scholars, activists, and thought-leaders to envision the future of environmental justice.

The first day will take place on Zoom on Thursday, May 19 at 4pm with flash talks on environmental justice topics ranging from academics to community work, followed by an environmental justice career panel. The second day will take place in person at Bren Hall and on Zoom at 2pm, and will feature a keynote from Sarah Biscarra Dilley, an artist and educator, as well as a PhD Candidate in Native American Studies at the University of California, Davis. The keynote will be followed by a food justice panel.
