Join the Non-Traditional Student Resource Center, Professor Edwina Barvosa, and Hugo Santos Gomez on April 30 at 4:30pm for a reading of Side by Side/Lado a Lado by Monica Brown. The story is about Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez and will be read in both Spanish and English. The book is ideal for children aged 4-8 but all age groups are welcome. Read on to learn more!

Join the Non-Traditional Student Resource Center, Professor Edwina Barvosa, and Hugo Santos Gomez on April 30 at 4:30pm for a reading of Side by Side/Lado a Lado by Monica Brown. The story is about Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez and will be read in both Spanish and English. The book is ideal for children aged 4-8 but all age groups are welcome! Edwina Barvosa is a professor within the Feminist Studies department at UCSB and Hugo Santos Gomez is a Recent UCSB PhD within the Anthropology department. The first 10 participants to sign up will receive a free copy of the book!
