On February 4, UCSB's Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) will have services limited to document pick-up, document drop-off, advising, and delays in processing times. Please plan accordingly for time-sensitive requests, especially Travel Signature Requests and reprints of your I-20. Read on for more information.

The Department of Homeland Security will be updating their Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) on Monday, February 4, 2019. Due to the update, SEVIS will not be available to UC ​Santa Barbara and the Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS).

During this time, OISS services will be limited to document pick-up, document drop-off, and advising. ​No processing of requests or documents will be available on this day. Requests received at the office between January 28​ ​and February 1 will receive +1 additional day of processing time added to the current processing time. Please plan accordingly for time-sensitive requests, especially Travel Signature Requests and reprints of your I-20. Access to your SEVIS record will not be available to OISS on February 4 for any reason, including emergencies.
