Interested in learning about ways to prevent diabetes? The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) is open to UCSB staff, faculty, and graduate students employed by the university. This is a year-long lifestyle change program created for individuals (18 years and older) who are either at risk of developing type 2 diabetes or have pre-diabetes.
By joining this program you get FREE access to: trained lifestyle coaches, group support, and CDC-approved curriculum that covers topics like nutrition, physical activity, and stress management.
The program sessions are free and begin in January 2019. There will be an information session on Wednesday, December 12th at 12pm in the Recreation Center, Room 1501.
