The Rady MicroMBA, a program run out of UC San Diego, is now open to all graduate students. This course is designed to allow STEM graduate students and postdocs to get a basic understanding of the business topics they might encounter should they decide to take their research from the lab to market.

Participants will be introduced to world-class researchers who will serve as instructors, become immersed in the program's quantitative STEM-designated coursework, learn alongside like minded peers and build their network.

The MicroMBA is a seven-week program, with each course offering a glimpse into the full MBA program at the Rady School of Management. The courses will be held online via Zoom from July 12-August 30, with select in-person networking opportunities available.

Courses include:

  • Business Analytics
  • Accounting for Startups
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Decision Making
  • Marketing
  • Innovation
  • Operational Strategy
  • Power and Leadership

The program will provide essential business tools and insights for participants to bring back to their graduate studies or full time work in science, health or technology.
