OVERVIEW
The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) provides opportunities for college students to participate in research at one of 47 Department of Navy (DoN) laboratories for 10 weeks during the summer. Interns further their education in STEM fields through mentoring by laboratory scientists and participating in actual Naval research and technology efforts, which can lead to employment within the DoN. The program is open to students from a variety of academic disciplines who are interested in STEM careers.
