Graduate students are cordially invited to attend and present their research at City of Hope's 5th Annual Biomedical Research Graduate Student Symposium on Friday, August 27, 2021. This one-day event will be held via Zoom and will promote professional development and foster communication between graduate students in the southern California area and beyond.

Master's and PhD students are highly encouraged to present their current research! Abstracts of 500 words or less can be submitted online for oral or poster presentations. Abstracts are due Friday, July 9th. Both oral and poster presentations are eligible for monetary prizes.

This year will feature a mental health seminar and a career panel with scientists representing government agencies, academia, and industry. The Keynote address will be by the fabulous Dr. Melissa Davis from Weill Cornell Medical College.

Abstract Submission
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, July 9, 2021.

Submission Guidelines
Abstracts of 500 words or less can be submitted online with the option to select a research focus for your presentation. Select students will be chosen to give oral presentations in each of the research areas, and may be eligible for monetary prizes. Please email gradsymposium@coh.org with any questions or concerns.
