The UC Love Data Week (February 8-12, 2021) is a week-long offering of free presentations, demos, and workshops focused on data access, management, security, sharing, and preservation. The UC Love Data Week "How do you love your data?" (February 8-12, 2021) is a week-long offering of free presentations, demos, and workshops focused on data access, management, security, sharing, and preservation.

To date, there are a total of 28 activities confirmed. For the full program and more information, please access this website. All members of the University of California community are welcome to attend. Make sure to register with your UC-campus email and guarantee your spot before it's too late (some workshops have limited seats available).

This year, UCSB will be hosting two workshops:

  • Harvesting Twitter Data With Twarc and Best Practices for Social Media Research on Thursday from 3-4:30pm.
  • Web Scraping Using XPath and Chrome Extension on Friday from 12-1pm.
