The GloCal Health Fellowship provides aspiring global health researchers with interdisciplinary education and training in innovative research designed to improve health for populations around the world. This program supports fellows from all 10 UC campuses as well as 21 affiliated international sites across 17 countries. Applications due Nov 1.

UCSB Graduate Division is accepting applications for the Google PhD Fellowship. Google created this Fellowship Program to recognize outstanding graduate students doing exceptional and innovative research in areas relevant to computer science and related fields. The Fellowship, which can last up to three years, provides full tuition and fees plus a stipend. UCSB students should submit applications by September 30.

The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 1984 to encourage outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients to pursue academic careers at the University of California. The annual award provides a salary starting at $54,540 depending on field and experience. The deadline to apply is November 1.

UCSB's McNair Scholars Program is recruiting a Graduate Mentor. The goals of McNair are to increase the number of first- generation, low-income and/or underrepresented students in doctoral programs, and to diversify the faculty in colleges and universities across the country. The Fannie and John Hertz Foundation is inviting interested applicants for Fall 2022 Graduate Fellowships in Applied Physical, Biological, or Engineering Sciences to attend this informational session. The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is the largest funding agency for academic research in Japan.
