The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a highly competitive international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. In the 2023-24 award cycle, 11 students applied from UCSB, 9 were selected as semi-finalists, one was selected as an alternate, and 3 were selected as finalists.
