United Way of Santa Barbara County is offering Emergency Rental & Utility Assistance to eligible County of Santa Barbara residents who have experienced a loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic and can demonstrate the need for rental support. The Interdisciplinary Humanities Center (IHC) is offering Dissertation Fellowships to support UCSB doctoral candidates whose research facilitates dialogue across traditional disciplinary boundaries within the arts and humanities, and/or between the arts and humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The 2021 Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. The Fulbright-Hays DDRA Fellowship provides funding for PhD candidates to conduct research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. Apply for the internal campus review by March 22nd!

The NASEM Gulf Research Program: Science Policy Fellowship is now accepting applications! Fellows gain first-hand policymaking experience as they spend one year on the staff of federal, state, local, or non-governmental environmental, natural resource, oil and gas, and public health agencies in the Gulf of Mexico region. The Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems. Apply by January 13, 2021!

The Coastal Fund seeks to provide the financial impetus for research, restoration, preservation, access and educational projects in order to preserve and enhance the ecological integrity of the coastal habitats at the University. Applications are due this Friday, January 15th!
