UCSB's Division of Undergraduate Education is hiring two Graduate Student Assistants for Spring 2023 to assist with the development of an online course. See below for more information about these positions and for application instructions.

1. Graduate Student Assistant: Research and Content Development, Spring 2023
Hours/Salary: 5-7 hours per week @ $25/hour during Spring 2023
The Division of Undergraduate Education is seeking to hire a graduate student in the Spring 2023 quarter to develop content for a new online undergraduate course: INT W 1-Introduction to Liberal Arts Education. Responsibilities include researching information about the HFA, SS, and MLPS divisions in UCSB's College of Letters and Sciences and developing content for quiz questions in the online modules about these divisions. Some in-person meetings to get started and then the bulk of the work can be done remotely, with occasional in-person meetings.

2. Graduate Student Assistant: Canvas Course Development and Video Editing, Spring 2023
Hours/Salary: 10-12 hours per week @ $25/hour during Spring 2023
The Division of Undergraduate Education is seeking to hire a graduate student in the Spring 2023 quarter to help build a new online undergraduate course in Canvas and to edit existing videos for that course. The course (INT W 1-Introduction to Liberal Arts Education) consists of three modules with videos and quizzes along with a discussion board and FAQ section to be built in Canvas. The videos are faculty, staff, and student interviews that need to be shortened and integrated into quizzes. Some in-person meetings to get started and then the bulk of the work can be done remotely, with occasional in-person meetings.
