The Torrey Pines Training Consortium is now offering a variety of funding workshop opportunities. Workshops include talks from amazing speakers. Speaker Cory Davis serves as the Academic Personnel Analyst for academic researchers within the VCR Organized Research Units at UC San Diego and provides support for research scholars. Dr. Peter Wagner from the Department of Medicine will share his vast experience of how to create a well structured grant and the general review process the grant will receive. Professor Mellon will give an overview of the program, share her experience as a reviewer, and provide valuable tips to help your application stand out. Professor Mark Lawson, Director of the UC President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and the Southern California Liaison for the Ford Foundation Fellowship Office, will provide an overview of the Ford Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Program and the University of California President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP).
