The UCSB Research Mentorship Program (RMP) is seeking graduate students, postdocs, and researchers for a paid mentorship opportunity this summer. The RMP will be delivered in person in Summer Session A (June 20 – July 29, 2022), and mentors will receive $1,050 per project per student (up to $4,200). OVERVIEW
The UCSB Research Mentorship Program (RMP) is seeking graduate students, postdocs, and researchers for a paid mentorship opportunity this summer.

RMP is a highly selective and competitive six-week summer program that engages qualified, high-achieving high school students from all over the world in interdisciplinary, hands-on, university-level research. They are seeking mentors who can guide students through a research project in STEM, humanities, or social sciences.

PROGRAM DETAILS
RMP will be back on campus and delivered in person during Summer Session A (June 20 - July 29, 2022).

MENTOR STIPEND
$1,050 per project per student

  • Prospective Mentors may submit up to 2 projects (up to 2 students per project for a compensation of up to $4,200
  • The proposed project must have a hands-on component (lab, field, computational, theory, archival, primary source analysis, etc.)
  • RMP students are highly qualified and expected to work independently. However, Mentors must meet mentees regularly to guide students through the project.
