Recordings of Funding Workshops Banner (3)

Hello, everyone! 2020 is drawing to an end, so take a moment to pat yourself on the back for making it through the many, unprecedented challenges of this year! As we approach winter break and some well-deserved rest, I want to draw your attention to some new funding resources that can help you in your quest for funding.

We at the GSRC are very pleased to announce that the GradPost Funding pages now feature recordings of our most popular workshops created by the previous Funding Peer, Kaitlyn Ugoretz. We will continue to offer these workshops live via Zoom throughout the year, but we understand that everyone is busy and struggling with Zoom fatigue. Now, you can listen to the recorded workshops, view the slides, and read through the frequently asked questions, in your free time. Check out the recordings on the Workshop page!

Here's what you'll be able to listen to:

The Finding Funding Workshop
This classic Finding Funding workshop hosted by the Graduate Funding Peer covers funding application timelines, points of contact, types of UC and external funding, and how to find them.

The Finding Funding for International Students Workshop
This Finding Funding workshop hosted by the Graduate Funding Peer covers funding application timelines, points of contact, types of UC and external funding, and how to find them -- all geared especially for international grad students.

The Budgeting Basics for Financial Literacy Workshop
This Financial Literacy workshop hosted by the Graduate Funding Peer covers how to get a handle on your income and expenses, set your financial goals, pick a budgeting strategy that's right for you, and start thinking about investing in your future.

If you have any questions about the workshop recordings, please reach out to your Funding Peer Advisor, Ranjani Atur, via email or make an appointment for a one-on-one consultation. You can also check the event schedule for a list of workshops offered live via Zoom each quarter.
