OVERVIEW
Big Ideas is awarding up to $20,000 for your social-impact big idea through the Big Ideas Contest! Big Ideas is an innovation competition between all the UC campuses that offers education, structure, funding and validation to bring your idea to life. Since its founding at UC Berkeley in 2005, Big Ideas has grown to become one of the largest and most diverse social innovation competitions in the country. It has inspired innovative, interdisciplinary, and high-impact student-led projects aimed at solving problems that matter to this generation. These social ventures include for-profit enterprises, non-profit organizations, and community based initiatives, all of which are supported through the nine-month application process with a comprehensive suite of resources, including mentorship, expert advising, and workshops.

DEADLINE
Proposal Deadline: a 3-page (1,600 word max) pre-proposal is due November 20, 2019.
