Join the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management for their second annual Master of Environmental Data Science (MEDS) Capstone Project Presentations Day on Friday, June 2 from 1-4:15pm. The MEDS Class of 2023 spent five months working on a project during which they partnered with clients to define a real-world environmental problem and contribute to a solution through data processing, analysis, and development of data products. They will be presenting their eight Capstone Projects on topics such as evaluating steel plant emissions, identifying potential sites for kelp cultivation, assessing wildfire risk, building tools for policymakers to evaluate forest conservation measures, and more!

This event will be held in-person in Bren Hall 1414 and will also be streamed live online. A reception will follow in Bren Hall after the presentations. This event is free and open to the public.

More details of the day's schedule and this year's projects can be found on the Bren website. For more information contact (projects@bren.ucsb.edu)
