Join UCSB's Educational eXcellence and Inclusion Training Opportunities (ÉXITO) Program and the Center for Black Studies Research (CBSR) for "Like Water to a Rose: Repurposing Schools into Centers of Health and Well-Being-Lessons from Roses in Concrete Community School," a talk by Dr. Joaquín Noguera, Postdoctoral fellow with the Center for Black Studies Research at UCSB.
In his presentation on May 10 at 3:30pm at the SRB Multipurpose Room, Dr. Noguera will discuss his research which centers wellness as a core organizing principle in K-12 education.
