Join the Multicultural Center next Wednesday, November 9 at 6pm for a screening of Bakosó: Afrobeats of Cuba. Bakosó is a groundbreaking documentary that weaves the story of Cuban DJ and Producer Isnay Rodriguez, also known as DJ Jigüe, and the creation of an entirely new genre. Stunning visuals and a vibrant score pulls the audience beyond the screen and into a story of this dynamic musical fusion.

There will also be a post-screening discussion and Q&A with Isnay “Dj Jigüe” Rodriguez, Producer/Director Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi, and Co-Producer Kahlil Jacobs-Fantauzzi.

You can register for this event on Shoreline. This screening and discussion is part of the MCC's Cup of Culture Series.
