The UCSB Attention Lab is recruiting participants for a new study investigating the effects of stress on the human brain and body! The study consists of one session that will last approximately 3-4 hours, and participants will receive $20/hour for their time spent in the lab.

The procedure will involve dipping your feet in ice-cold water for five 90-second intervals and performing a target-detection task on a computer. Each dip will take place every 15 minutes. Researchers will measure your brain activity, heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure using sensors placed on the skin.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form. If you would like to request more information, please contact Caitlin Gregory at caitlingregory@ucsb.edu. A request for more information does not obligate you to participate in the study.
