UCSB Arts and Lectures will be hosting two upcoming events as part of its Justice for All series, one this week and one next week. Read on for more information.

The author of celebrated books including Bad FeministHunger: A Memoir of (My) Body and Difficult Women, social commentator Roxane Gay critiques the ebb and flow of modern culture with wit and ferocity.

Why Everything Rises: Virtual Meet-the-Artists

Wednesday, March 2, 7:30-8:30pm, on Zoom

Come join A&L for this virtual meet-the-artists with Jennifer Koh, Davóne Tines, and their creative team. This event will be moderated by Lisa Park, Chair and Professor of Asian American Studies at UCSB. This is an opportunity to hear from the artists in anticipation of the April 12 world premier of their new piece, Everything Rises, commissioned by Arts & Lectures. The virtual talk will take place via Zoom webinar on Wednesday, March 2 at 7:30-8:30 PM.
