Research Focus Group Chalk Talk: Moving Beyond One Dimensional Shakespeare
10-11:30 AM on Thursday, October 21, 2021 on Zoom

Students often shy away from Shakespeare in their classes, but educators can also get nervous about teaching the Bard! The goal for this pedagogical discussion is to reflect on everyone's personal experiences learning about and teaching Shakespeare in the classroom and how to enhance future teaching practices, particularly through the lens of utilizing global media and socio-culturally aware pedagogy. Facilitators will provide links to optional pre-event resources after registration, but they invite everyone from any discipline interested in developing their understanding of the Bard in the classroom to join them in this discussion.
