Campus Elections Commission (CEC)

This commission is comprised of students, faculty, and staff. The commission is a neutral, impartial body that makes recommendations to the Chancellor on all issues related to campus-wide elections. This includes (but is not limited to) ballot wording, election timing, election operation, policies, practices, and violations. The commission also educates voters about each ballot measure's scope, financial implications, pros, and cons being placed before the electorate. It assures that campus-wide elections are conducted fairly and efficiently.

Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC)

This committee is a student-led committee that reviews and recommends how the Chancellor spends the Student Services Fee revenue each year. The committee acts as a bridge between staff in the Division of Student Affairs, which provides a plethora of student services offered to UC Santa Barbara students and the students themselves. SFAC is also responsible for communicating the needs of both groups directly to the Chancellor to prioritize how the Student Services Fee revenue is allocated on campus.
