Join Belinda Robnett, UC Santa Barbara Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, for a special roundtable discussion with W. Kamau Bell. This event on Thursday, Feb 11 from 6:15-7:15 PM Pacific time is open to all UCSB students and faculty (UCSB.edu email address required to register).

"I'm telling jokes, but I'm not kidding," says sociopolitical comedian W. Kamau Bell, host of CNN's United Shades of America and author of The Awkward Thoughts of W. Kamau Bell. From race relations and law enforcement to right-wing politics, left-wing politics, comedians and superheroes, Bell tackles a wide range of issues that invite awkward conversations in an effort to break down barriers and, ultimately, make the world a better place. In this roundtable discussion, participants are invited to bring their questions, comments and thoughts, awkward or not, to the virtual table.
