You are invited to join a free seminar on Navigating Pandemic‐related Visa and Other Challenges Faced by International Students and Postdoctoral Scholars.

Foreign students and postdoctoral fellows from different disciplines and professions come to the USA to train in research labs, healthcare offices, and other workplaces, bringing immense value to the biomedical, STEM and healthcare research and professional communities. The COVID‐19 pandemic has made it increasingly difficult for these trainees to meet existing and new hurdles in immigration processing. This webinar, co‐sponsored by the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) and the American Psychological Association (APA), provides discussion on current and long‐term impacts on the international community and potential legal avenues for remedy. The intended audience includes current international graduate students, postdoctoral trainees and early career professionals, and the individuals that support the international campus community (faculty advisors and mentors, staff of postdoctoral and career services offices).

Time for Q&A will follow.
