UCSB's Counseling and Psychological Services is hosting an array of group therapy, workshop, and seminar offerings this quarter, including their "Riding the Wave" workshop series exclusively designed to help graduate students navigate the ups and downs of grad school with greater ease.

UCSB's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is hosting an array of group therapy, workshop, and seminar offerings this quarter ranging from graduate student process groups to enhancing wellness and managing depression. You can learn more about these offerings and see the full list of Winter 2017 offerings here.

Reserve your spot by submitting interest online, calling CAPS, or coming into the main office. Note: for some programming (i.e. the Wellness Seminar Series and the International Student Lunch Discussion series), ​it is possible to drop in without submitting interest in advance.

CAPS offers a workshop series called "Riding the Wave" that is exclusively designed to help graduate students navigate the ups and downs of grad school with greater ease. The workshop is held on ​Tuesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. in Elings 1601 on the following dates and topics:

January 31: Understanding and Optimizing Motivation
February 7: Defining Personal Goals and Making an Action Plan
February 14: Effective Communication
February 21: Achieving Your Desired Work-Life Balance and Renewing Your Vitality
