UCSB's Division of Student Affairs will host author and anti-racist activist Tim Wise for a talk at Campbell Hall on Wednesday, January 25, at 8 p.m. Perhaps best known for his memoir, "White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son," which was also made into a film (available free online), Wise has spoken to students on over 1,000 college and high school campuses, as well as conferences and community groups.

Wise will be speaking as part of UCSB's Resilient Love in a Time of Hate series and will focus on meaningful ways in which white Americans can be allies to communities of color. This event is free and will be followed by a Q&A session with Wise. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., so come a little early for a good seat.
