You are invited to join Amanda Pinheiro for a workshop on developing your skills as an international TA. Drawing on her experience as the founder of UCSB's International Teaching Assistants Association, the Lead TA in Global Studies, and as Instructor of Record, Amanda will discuss the challenges that iTAs have encountered and how to overcome them. This workshop will cover the dynamics of working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly for international graduate students. The focus is to build confidence as an international TA and to build inclusivity in a diverse classroom.
