Engaging Students through Thought-Provoking Questions
Facilitator: Peter Romaskiewicz, TA Pedagogical Advisor
Asking good, probing questions is a cornerstone of effective teaching. The workshop will examine strategies for crafting thought-provoking questions that will increase student engagement and deepen their understanding of the course material. We will also cover some of the more tricky social aspects of classroom instruction, such as when students are unresponsive to questions, or when a student responds, but offers a "wrong" or non-optimal answer.

When: Wednesday, May 1
Time: 12-1pm
Where: Kerr Hall 1128
