This is a working session on understanding COS Pivot, a ​​​comprehensive funding source database available to you as a UCSB student who may be seeking fellowships, grants, awards, or call-for-proposals (CFP) that can support your specific research. The COS Pivot data base is one of the primary sources for receiving funding opportunity announcements (FOA). In this session, you will learn to navigate the different tools available like creating tailored search lists, tracking funding opportunities, and finding other collaborators. This event is particularly relevant if you are a beginner in understanding funding or an advanced student doing research ​who has not yet found funding options that fit your work. Please come with your laptops as well as your questions! Snacks will be provided.
