The Center for Innovative Teaching, Research, and Learning (CITRAL) and Instructional Development are excited to invite you to the Engaging Teaching Symposium! The Symposium is a great opportunity to learn about innovative teaching practices at UCSB, with presentations by both instructors (graduate students and faculty) and learners. The Symposium will run from 2-5:30p on Thursday, October 6 and from 10a-5p on Friday, October 7 in Library Room 1576 (first floor, ocean side).

Symposium sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including hybrid learning, reassessing assessment, technology and multimedia across the disciplines, and other issues around learning and pedagogy. The Office of Teaching and Learning will host an Open House with refreshments at the end of the Symposium on Friday.
