If you will be a teaching assistant or reader for the first time during the 2022-23 school year, you are required to complete the campus-wide TA Orientation. The orientation will run on September 19-20. This interactive training focuses on effective teaching practices, your rights and responsibilities, and resources available to you. If you will be a teaching assistant (TA) or reader for the first time during the 2022-23 school year, you are required to complete the campus-wide TA Orientation. The orientation will run on September 19-20. This interactive training focuses on effective teaching practices, your rights and responsibilities, and resources available to you.

TA Orientation has three required components. Please save the date for the live events.

September 12-20 -- Complete four asynchronous modules on TA rights and responsibilities (~60 min)

LIVE EVENT: Monday, September 19, 6-7:30p -- General Session with TA Panel Q&A and the UAW (TA Union) Information Session (on Zoom)

LIVE EVENT: Tuesday, September 20, 10a-12p -- Teaching workshops (on campus, must attend two)
