Please bookmark the Graduate Division's living FAQs:

  • FAQ for graduate students on COVID-19 impacts
    • This FAQ outlines key info about student well being, health, housing, research, funding, graduate classes, academics, employment, online teaching, residency, maintaining productivity, Grad Slam, parking reimbursements, childcare reimbursements, commencement, student loans, basic needs resources, and library services. 
  • FAQ on provision of campus services during spring 2020.
    • This FAQ outlines key info about Graduate Division services, including academic services, admissions, outreach, & diversity initiatives, the GSRC, and marketing & communications, as well as info on Student Affairs services and other miscellaneous campus services.
  • FAQs on extension of time-to degree and expansion of S/U grading options
    • Detailed information on the extension of Time-to-Degree and Time-to-Advancement, as well as S/U Grading.

The FAQs will be updated regularly as events or services change. Responses for each question will be dated, so it is clear at what point particular information was provided. Neither of these documents ​are exhaustive, so please send suggestions for new FAQs to graddeans@graddiv.ucsb.edu.
