Next week, UCSB will send its campus 2017 Grad Slam champion, Leah Foltz, up to San Fransisco to compete against 9 other UC finalists ​in the 3rd annual UC systemwide Grad Slam tournament. Tune in to the live-stream coverage of the event to cheer on Leah and vote in the People's Choice award!

Photo Credit: Matt PerkoNext week, UCSB will send its campus 2017 Grad Slam champion, Leah Foltz from Biomolecular Science and Engineering, up to San Fransisco to compete against 9 other UC finalists ​in the 3rd annual UC systemwide Grad Slam tournament on Thursday, May 4, from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

And it's not just ​bragging rights that are ​at stake: the grand prize winner will receive $5,000, with $2,000 and $1,000 prizes for the runners-up. There will also be a People's Choice vote this year, and the winner of that will receive $1,000 - so be sure to tune in to the live-stream coverage of the event and vote for Leah!
