Breaking News:

If you've been having trouble getting your tax returns together by April 15th due to all the chaos caused by the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, there's good news!

This week, the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board extended their deadlines to file tax returns by 90 days. The new tax deadline is effectively July 15, 2020.

If you would be owed a refund by the US federal government, the IRS encourages you to file as soon as possible so that you will have more resources to deal with COVID-19 related issues sooner.

However, if you will owe the federal and state governments this year, you may wait until July 15 to file your tax return.

Take care!
