OVERVIEW
Brown University invites applications for the two-year Presidential Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowships 2019-2021 cohort to support the development of early career scholars from diverse backgrounds (with particular attention to historically underrepresented groups) who show promise as innovative scholars in the following integrative scholarship areas:

  • Creating Peaceful, Just, and Prosperous Societies
  • Exploring Human Experience
  • Cultivating Creative Expression
  • Understanding the Human Brain
  • Sustaining Life on Earth
  • Using Science and Technology to Improve Lives
  • Deciphering Disease and Improving Population Health

The successful candidate will teach one course per year as part of the appointment and will participate in activities related to the Presidential Diversity Postdoctoral Fellows Program. This postdoctoral fellowship is not renewable beyond year two.

QUALIFICATIONS
Scholars with a Ph.D. in the humanities, social sciences, physical sciences or engineering will be considered. The candidate's dissertation must be complete by July 1, 2019.
