Funding for travel this academic year is still available through the Doctoral Student Travel Grant.
The Academic Senate has announced that there is still funding available for Doctoral Student Travel Grants for travel through June 30. The Doctoral Student Travel Grant awards travel funds to graduate students who have been invited or selected to present a paper, present research, perform or exhibit at a major professional conference or meeting. Applicants must be doctoral students who are advanced to candidacy, or M.F.A. students who are in their second year of study and in candidacy prior to travel. Students are eligible to receive one Doctoral Student Travel Grant during their graduate career at UCSB. Funding for travel July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, will open in the next few weeks.
