The United States-Israel Educational Foundation is offering 8 Fulbright fellowships for postdocs studying in Israel for two years.

 The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) ​will award 8 grants to American postdoctoral scholars who are about to begin a program of research at Israeli educational institutions starting in the 2017​-18 academic year. The total length of the proposed program of work in Israel must be at least two academic years (cumulative 20 months in Israel). The Fulbright totals $40,000 ($20,000 per academic year). This program is open to postdocs in any discipline, ​but USIEF will give preference to applicants who have not had significant prior professional experience in Israel. Knowledge of Hebrew isn't required.​

Award: $40,000 total ($20,000 each year)

Application deadline: August 1

Fellowship duration: Two academic years beginning in 2017-18

Eligibility: Postdocs in any field are eligible
