Ph.D. candidates interested in participating in the Graduate Student Recruiting Program with the National Cancer Institute this June should apply by April 4.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking Ph.D. students to participate in the NCI Graduate Student Recruiting Program, to be held June 22-24 at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Bethesda, Maryland campus. The purpose of the event is to invite qualified individuals to get acquainted with the science and resources at the National Cancer Institute and interview with ​the Principal Investigators seeking to recruit outstanding young scientists to postdoctoral positions. Selected candidates will spend two days discussing their research through poster sessions, meeting current trainees at the NCI, and learning about NCI's research. The NCI-GSRP will support all travel costs for invited applicants to attend the event.

Application Deadline: April 4

Eligibility: Ph.D. candidates on schedule to complete their degree requirements no later than Dec. 2016

Program Dates: June 22-24

Location: NIH in Bethesda, MD

Fees: None to the participants; NCI-GSRP will provide all travel costs for invitees to attend.
