ABOUT BRAD BOULEY

Brad Bouley is Assistant Professor of History at UC Santa Barbara specializing in the histories of religion and science. His first book, Pious Postmortems: Anatomy and the Making of Early Modern Saints, was published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2017. He is currently working on a second book project entitled, The Barberini Butchers: Meat, Murder, and Warfare in Early Modern Italy. He has been a recipient of the Harvard Center for Renaissance Studies Villa I Tatti Fellowship, the American Academy in Rome Prize and the Fulbright Fellowship for Italy.
