The UCSB Library is pleased to announce the return of extended Library hours during dead and finals weeks. Beginning June 2 and ending June 13, Late Night Study will begin at 6PM. During Late Night Study, the Library is only open to UCSB students, faculty, and staff.

A UCSB Access ID Card is required in order to enter the Library during Late Night Study. Until midnight, just tap your Access Card at the card reader at any entrance to the Library. After midnight, access in and out of the building will be through the Paseo West Entrance only.

In addition to increasing the hours of Late Night Study during Dead and Final Weeks, the Library is making extra study seating available to students by opening up Instruction & Training Rooms 1312 and 1575 each weeknight from 5PM-1AM and on the weekends from 10AM-1AM.

By expanding seating and reducing public hours during this busy time, the Library is continuing its commitment to meeting UCSB student needs. This pilot program follows the rollout in Fall Quarter of the expanded Late Night Study footprint and opening of the Davidson Entrance.
