Art of Science is an event to capture the imagination and share the beauty and meaning of scientific discovery. UCSB undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs were all invited to tell the story of their research through the aesthetic. These works of art go on to share the creative nature and joy of scientific discovery with our community through multiple exhibits and outreach events throughout 2019. Since 2014, the annual competition winning pieces have been on exhibit at the UCSB Library; MOXI; the Santa Barbara Museum of Art; and the UCSB Art, Design and Architecture Museum.

This event is hosted by the Schuller Lab, the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships at the California Nanosystems Institute, the College of Creative Studies, and the UCSB Library. For any questions, please contact Arica Lubin, Wendy Ibsen, or Jon Schuller.
