Immigration legal services for graduate students

Through a partnership of Associated Students, Undocumented Student Services, and the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center, an attorney dedicated to immigration issues is now available for consultation and advice. These services are at no additional cost for students. Attorney Ron Perry provides counsel and ‚Äčadvice to UCSB students and their immediate families with matters such as:

  • Legal advice for undocumented students in the UC system and their families, as well as students who are U.S. citizens with undocumented family members;

  • Legal support for informational and know-your-rights sessions at UC Santa Barbara;

  • Legal support for campus clinics and workshops to assist with applications for benefits available under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and other immigration related relief;

  • DACA applications and renewals;

  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status;

  • U-visas;

  • Temporary Protected Status.
