Gauchos For Recovery (GFR) is a student-led organization that provides resources to UCSB students seeking long-term recovery from alcohol, addictive substances, and addictive behaviors. Additionally, GFR supports students who have been directly or indirectly affected by the substance use of friends or loved ones. As part of their mission, GFR seeks to serve students in all types and stages of recovery, support personal growth in recovery, provide a supportive community of peers, and encourage the pursuit of personal goals.

GFR has a meeting specifically for graduate and non-traditional students that meets every Friday in Embarcadero Hall 1105 from 12-1pm.
