The UCSB Division of Student Affairs recently announced that it will match all new gifts and pledges to the UCSB's Dream Scholar Fund dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 from now until December 31, 2017.

The Dream Scholar Fund supports more than 400 undocumented students on UCSB's campus. Last spring, the Dream Scholar Fund awarded its first scholarships to eight ​students in significant need of financial support, totaling $6,000. In the wake of recent threats to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, the Division of Student Affairs is hoping to significantly increase its ability to support Dream Scholars on UCSB's campus.

There are three options for making a charitable gift to the Dream Scholars fund today:
