Interested in earning an Amazon gift card while participating in exciting research? The Department of Education is inviting graduate students to participate in a focus group to explore UCSB's designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution.
All UCSB Latino/a/x graduate students are invited to participate in a 60-90 minute focus group with other graduate students. Focus groups will discuss whether students are aware of UCSB's institutional designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) and what impact this has on graduate students.
This study will help determine what UCSB's Hispanic-Serving Institution designation means for Latino/a/x graduate students. The experiences and insights of graduate students regarding UCSB's HSI designation are an important resource for institutional planning and improving opportunities for all students.
Participant identities will remain confidential. Participants will receive a $20 Amazon.com gift card for their participation.

You will get an email with a doodle poll to provide your availability for a focus group.
