Tricia Rose, author of "The Hip Hop Wars," "Longing to Tell," and "Black Noise," will discuss the current climate of the US and how love, justice, and imagination all play a part of the current times.

The Multicultural Center (MCC) invites you to another Resilient Love in a Time of Hate and Diversity Lecture event on Thursday, January 19th at 6 p.m. at Corwin Pavilion. Tricia Rose, author of "The Hip Hop Wars," "Longing to Tell," and "Black Noise," will discuss the current climate of the US and how love, justice, and imagination all play a part of the current times.

Dr. Rose received a BA in Sociology from Yale University and a Ph.D. in American Studies from Brown University. Currently, she serves as the Associate Dean of the Faculty for Special Initiatives, Chancellor's Professor of Africana Studies, and Director of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University.
