CAPS currently has 1-2 spots for graduate students interested in joining their process groups, which are designed for students who want to explore ways to build intimacy, work on the interpersonal aspects of anxiety and depression, and become more aware of their actions and communication styles.

UCSB's Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) run a number of process groups every year, and two of those groups are dedicated specifically to graduate students. Currently, they have 1-2 spots opening up in Fall 2016 for interested graduate students to join these groups, which are designed for students who want to explore ways to build intimacy in interpersonal relationships, work on the interpersonal aspects of anxiety and depression, resolve problems and conflicts, and become more aware of their actions and communication styles. While the number of openings is limited, additional spots often become available throughout the course of the academic year, so interested students are encouraged to sign up for the wait list even if they are not able to immediately secure a spot. Graduate process groups meet on either Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the San Clemente Office (Arrowhead 1108).
